Who We Are

At South Ocean Air, we’re contributing to the net zero emissions effort with natural, affordable and scalable solutions that foster a low carbon economy at scale.

We’re leveraging our patented air purifying technology to develop widely accessible and affordable carbon offsetting solutions that empower more everyday people and organizations to invest in cultivating a more sustainable world.

Our Vision

We envision a sustainable, low-carbon economy world where everyone is empowered with the knowledge, resources and solutions to help create a more habitable planet.

Why The Name:

According to a recent study*, scientists believe they’ve identified where the world’s cleanest air can be found: over the Southern Ocean (near Antarctica), which is the inspiration behind our company’s name.

We believe everyone, everywhere should be able to live on a habitable planet, and we’re on a mission to make that a reality.

What We Believe:

  • Direct air capture should belong to everyone—not just wealthy nations or billion-dollar labs.

We design carbon removal tech that’s scalable, flexible, and built for everyday people, everywhere.

From small homes to city blocks, our systems adapt to local needs without creating future problems.

  • We believe everyone should feel like they’re part of the solution. And with the right tools, they can be.
